Export your content to Pinecast

Send a finished episode from Descript to Pinecast without downloading and re-uploading it. Pinecast copies the audio and the transcript, and you check the episode in Pinecast before it goes out.

Export to Pinecast from Descript

1. Click Export at the top-right corner of your editor.
2. Under Destination, select Pinecast from the Podcasting options.
3. Click Publish. Descript also creates a private, unlisted share page of your content, which is where Pinecast gets the audio and transcript.

Finish importing in Pinecast

1. Pinecast’s Import from Descript page opens in your browser. Sign in to Pinecast if it asks.
2. Choose the podcast for this episode.
3. Click Import from Descript. Pinecast copies the audio and the transcript from Descript.
4. Check the episode details, then save the episode. Pinecast doesn’t publish it for you.

The audio file counts toward the upload limit of your Pinecast plan.
