Unfortunately, SquadCast doesn’t currently support virtual backgrounds, green screens, or blurred backgrounds, but we plan to add this feature in a future update. That said, it is possible to use virtual backgrounds when you transfer your recording to Descript. Here is how to do so:
  1. Once you are done recording, move your files to Descript using Importing files using Edit in Descript (beta)
  2. Apply a Green Screen, Blur speaker background (beta) or Chroma key effect to your video.
  3. And that’s it!
