Generate an image from the AI Tools panel
- Open or create a project, then open the AI Tools panel.
- Scroll to the Look Good section and select Generate an image.
- Upload a base image and/or enter a text prompt (for example, “illustrated laptop on white background” or “cartoon-style podcast logo”).
- (Optional) Select an art style from the library.
- Click Submit. Descript will generate four image options.
- Click an image thumbnail to add it to your scene. It will also be saved to your project files for reuse.

Generate images with Underlord
Open the Underlord panel and describe the image you want. For example: "Generate an image of a capybara on a cloud in a children's book style." Specify a style in your prompt, let Underlord choose, or pick from our style library. To see more options, just ask Underlord to show you different styles.
Save and reuse AI images
Generated images are automatically saved in the AI Assets folder in your project panel. To download a copy to your device, use the Download option in the project file actions menu.
