Get a one-time passcode (no password required)

  1. Be sure you are not currently logged into any Descript account.
  2. Navigate to web.descript.com
  3. Enter your email address, then click continue with email.
  4. Descript will email you a one-time passcode. Open this email in a new browser tab or window. Keep the original login tab open—closing it will invalidate the one-time passcode.
  5. Enter the verification code provided to re-access your account.

Sign in with a password

Use the steps below to set up a password for your Descript account. You can also use these steps to reset your existing password.
  1. Be sure you are not currently logged into any Descript account.
  2. Navigate to web.descript.com
  3. Enter your account email address. Select use a password instead.
  4. Click sign up or reset password. Descript will email you a password reset link.
  5. Use the link in the password reset email to change your password.
Password requirementsYour password must be strong enough to pass the security check.You don’t need to mix in special characters or uppercase letters, but your password can’t be too common or easy to guess (like “password123”). Descript uses a smart strength checker to help you choose a secure password.
