The Edit for Clarity AI Action analyzes your script to clean up pacing, tighten delivery, and remove unnecessary or off-topic content. It applies edits automatically and can optionally regenerate audio using AI speech. Use it to smooth rough recordings or refine long-form content without rewriting by hand.

How it works

1. Open the AI Actions panel in the right sidebar.
2. Select Edit for Clarity from the Sound Good section.
3. Adjust the Edit intensity slider:
   • Low – Light touch, minimal edits
   • Medium – Balanced cleanup
   • Heavy – More aggressive editing and trimming
4. Enable Use AI speech to reword and regenerate small parts of the script to improve flow — helpful when a sentence needs smoothing or a word added for clarity.
   • To use AI speech, make sure your script has proper speaker labels in place. Each original speaker must have an AI Speaker created — you’ll be prompted if one hasn’t been set up yet.
5. Click Submit to complete the AI Action, then select how to address the suggestions.

What you'll see

• Removed words and phrases appear as ignored text, so you can review or restore them.
• AI-generated edits appear in blue, with new audio inserted automatically using your selected AI Speaker.

Next steps

After reviewing your edits, you can:

• Copy edits to new composition – create a clean version without overwriting the original
• Remove ignored text – accept the script cleanup and ignore all crossed-out content. Learn more about Deleting vs ignoring script text.
• Discard all edits – cancel changes and return to your original script
