Troubleshooting GPU (Graphics Card) Related Issues - Descript Help Center

Out-of-date graphics drivers can cause GPU-related crashes, glitchy playback, and other issues in Descript. Updating them is usually the fix.

Microsoft Windows users

If you’re on a Windows device, you can verify that your drivers are automatically up to date in a few different ways:

Check for all available Windows Updates
Update drivers manually in Windows Device Manager
- Graphics cards will be listed under the Display adapters heading in the Device Manager.
Visit the GPU manufacturer’s website, for example, Nvidia or AMD, to download and install updated drivers.

Apple's macOS users

For Mac users, drivers are built into macOS. Updating to the latest version of macOS will update the GPU drivers - update macOS.
