Record with Presenter View or Speaker Notes
Open Descript and create a new project. Then, open your presentation tool in a separate tab or window and activate presenter view. Most presentation tools will display two windows: one with your speaker notes and presentation controls, and another showing just the slides for your audience.

- Choose the camera, microphone, screen, and computer audio input you'd like to record.
-
When selecting a screen share option, select the App Window tab from the toggle at the top of the window, then share the Audience View window.

Descript will automatically group your multi-track recording into a sequence, and then insert the sequence into the script. This ensures you're able to make an edit to your script without having to manually realign your camera, microphone, and screen sharing tracks. Learn more about sequences.
It can be helpful to create scenes for each slide in your presentation. Although Descript is not able to automatically add scenes for each slide in your deck, you can create scenes manually by adding a backslash "/" anywhere you'd like to add a scene boundary. Learn more about scenes.
