You can add or update your payment method from your account settings.
Things to know
- Currently, Descript only accepts certain payment methods for Hobbyist, Creator, Business, and EDU/non-profit plans. Please see: Supported payment options for more details.
- You will need a payment method on file if you have a paid subscription.
- For team drives, only the drive owner can adjust the account payment method.
How to add or update your payment method
- Sign into your account from the app or the web, then select your profile picture in the top right corner of the Drive view.
- Select Settings.
- Select the Profile tab.
- Click Edit next to the Payment method line item in the Billing details section. Click Edit.
- You will be brought to a new tab where you will be able to select and update your payment method.
- Once you add the required information, be sure to click Update payment method.
Removing your credit card on file
If you're on a paid subscription and want to remove your payment method, cancel your plan first. After that, contact our support team to remove the payment method from your account.
