Click the Help Center (?) icon in the top-right corner of Descript to quickly access support resources.

Contact the Descript support team
Our team can be reached via live chat and email. We respond as quickly as we can—usually within one business day.
Live chat (paid plans only)
Live chat is available Monday–Friday, 5:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. PT.
To access chat, click the Help (?) icon in the top-right corner of Descript and select Contact Us. Our bot will try to help first—if it can’t, you’ll be connected with our support team.
- If an agent is available, you’ll be connected for live chat.
- If chat isn’t available, leave a message—we’ll respond by email as soon as possible.
Live chat requires login
You must be logged into Descript on web or desktop to access live chat.

What to include when contacting support
To help us troubleshoot quickly, please include:
- A link to your Descript project (if applicable). Here's how to find your project link.
- A short screen recording showing the issue.
- If you don't already have something available, use Descript’s Screen Recorder or your device’s built-in tool: Mac → | Windows →
- Any error messages or unexpected behavior you’re seeing
