The issue of a recording skipping or pitching up sounds usually arises when the microphone sample rate isn't set to 48kHz during recording. The participant can adjust the sample rate in the computer's OS sound settings to fix this. Detailed instructions are in our support document here: Microphone Sample Rate.

SquadCast also provides helpful tools for hosts to gain insights into guest equipment. Hosts can easily view participants OS, browser version, and selected microphone and cameras. Expand the participant's menu by selecting the participants icon in the lower right corner of the in-session display. Hosts can also select their preferred guest's equipment from the available dropdown menu. The participant will receive a notification of the request and can choose to Accept or Decline the equipment modification.
