Microphone Sample Rate

The standard sample rate is 48 kHz, which we recommend using with SquadCast for the best results. Some audio interfaces and microphones can have much higher sample rates and can change your OS settings automatically when plugged into your computer without your knowledge. With these simple steps, you can change the sample rate back to the standard 48 kHz if needed.

  2. Type in “Audio Midi Setup.”
  3. Click on the Audio Midi Setup app.
  4. Select your audio interface or microphone in the list on the left.
  5. Click on the Format dropdown to expand it.
  6. Select 48 kHz.
  7. Close the Audio Midi Setup app.
  8. Return to SquadCast.
  9. Refresh the page.
