How it works
- On your computer, open your Descript project or create a new one.
- In the script panel, click the Upload from Mobile button.
- A QR code will appear—scan it with your phone’s camera. You’ll be directed to web.descript.com in your mobile browser.
- If you aren’t already signed in, log into your Descript account on your mobile device.
- Once signed in, you’ll land on the project screen in your mobile browser. Choose the file you want to upload.
- Tap Upload, then select files from your mobile device.
- Descript will upload the files directly into the project’s Files panel.
What next?
Uploaded files appear in your project’s Files section. Once imported, you can work with them like any other file:
- Want to edit by text? Add it to the script and transcribe it
- Using it as b-roll, a visual layer, or background audio? Add it to the scene editor as a layer. Learn more about working with layers.
