Video colors look washed out or overly vivid after upload?
This can happen with HDR footage, especially videos recorded on iPhone or other cameras that use HDR by default. Learn how to fix color problems when importing HDR videos into Descript.
What next?
Uploaded files appear in your project’s Files section. From there, you can use them like any other file:
- Need to edit by text? Add the file to the script and transcribe it.
- Using it as b-roll or background audio? Add it to the scene editor as a layer. Learn more about working with layers.
Limitations
- Upload from mobile is upload-only — editing on mobile or tablets isn’t supported.
- Uploads are limited to 250 MB per file.
- For best results, use a supported desktop device. See Descript's system requirements.
