Export individual sequence tracks as mono files

Need help opening the Sequence Editor?

To open the Sequence Editor, right-click a sequence in the timeline or press Shift + Command + O (Mac) / Shift + Ctrl + O(Windows). Learn more about using the Sequence Editor

  1. Open your multitrack sequence in the Sequence Editor
  2. Select the track you want to export, then click the S (solo) icon next near the top of the right-hand sidebar.
  3. Exit the Sequence Editor by pressing Esc or clicking the Done button.
  4. Go to File > Export and choose your export format. Descript will export only the currently soloed track as a mono audio file.
  5. Repeat this process for all other tracks in your sequence.
