You can create inline annotations by typing an opening parenthesis in the script. Inline notes are useful for annotating non-speech content (like a cough, laugh, or stage direction) in your transcript without affecting your script's alignment with your audio. Inline notes will not appear in the wordbar but will be included in an exported transcript. 

You can also add inline notes on a blank line by selecting ... > Add inline note.
