# Zoom Audio Interface Settings

> Set up a Zoom audio interface for use with SquadCast.

Wire up a Zoom audio interface as your mic input for SquadCast:

1. Plug your Microphone into Channel 1 with the XLR cable.
2. Plug your Headphones into the Headphone port.
3. Power on the Microphone.
4. Plug your Zoom device into your computer with the USB cable.
5. Power on the Zoom device.
6. On your Zoom device, click the **Menu** button on the side.
7. Use the scroll switch to select **USB** and then press the scroll switch to select it.
8. Use the scroll switch to select **Audio Interface** and then press the scroll switch to select it.
9. Use the scroll switch to select **Stereo Mix** and then press the scroll switch to select it.
10. Select the Zoom device as your [Operating System default device for Microphone and Headphones](/squadcast/green-room).
11. Join your session on SquadCast and select your Zoom device as the Microphone (input) and Headphones (output).

  **Enable Mix-Minus**

  Be sure to enable Mix-Minus in your interface settings to ensure unnecessary echo or feedback is not created.
