# Delete a Recording Session

> Permanently delete a recording session from the Squadcast Dashboard.

<Danger>
  **Deleted sessions cannot be recovered**

  Please note that deleting sessions is a permanent action that cannot be reversed. Deleted sessions will be removed from our servers and cannot be recovered. Deleting a session will also delete all recorded content within the session.

You can delete an upcoming recording session from the Dashboard by following the steps below:

1. Select the <img src="https://mintcdn.com/descript-5bf56f3f/1OcToTDEN_1-oRIu/images/external/descript-25225104641549-a631721535.png?fit=max&auto=format&n=1OcToTDEN_1-oRIu&q=85&s=f156800b2a9117c9b083492cc381444e" alt="Vertical ellipses icon.png" width="20" height="20" style={{ display: "inline-block", verticalAlign: "middle", margin: "0 0.125rem" }} data-path="images/external/descript-25225104641549-a631721535.png" /> **Ellipsis**button to the right of the recording session you want to delete.
2. Select **Delete Session**.
3. In the confirmation window, select **Delete Session** again to confirm deletion. The session will now be permanently deleted.
