# Troubleshooting hearing a guest while using Bluetooth headphones in SquadCast

> Use wired headphones to avoid Bluetooth latency in SquadCast recordings.

Bluetooth headphones work in SquadCast, but wired ones give you a better recording: they run at 48 kHz, add no latency, and are recognized as the system default without fuss.
