Publish to Google Drive

You can publish your finished video or audio project to your Google Drive. This way, you can share your work with collaborators without having to invite a member to your Drive drive or grant them project access.

Please note that you will need to set your video resolution based on your composition's aspect ratio and video settings. Once you're ready to publish your project:

  1. Open your project and select Publish.
  2. Open the Publish tab and select Google Drive from the dropdown menu.
  3. You may need to sign into your Google account:
    1. Select Sign in to Google and a webpage will open in your browser.
    2. Choose what Google account you want to sign into and allow Descript access to your Google Drive.
  4. Back in the publishing panel in Descript, choose where you want to upload your video and select Publish.
Published File Location

At this time, files published to Google Drive will, by default, be saved to the root directory of your Google Drive. We hope to add more functionality to this soon.
