Transfer a SquadCast show to a different organization when ownership of a show changes — for example, if a show moves to a new production team, a host leaves and takes their show with them, or your team consolidates shows under a single organization. Transferring moves all content and data associated with the show, including recordings, sessions, and settings.
A transfer requires coordination between the sender (the current show owner) and the receiver (the organization accepting the show).

How to receive a show
Before a show can be transferred to your organization, you need to share your transfer key with the sender.
- Navigate to the Shows tab of your account settings.
- Select the Copy Transfer Key button.
- Share the key with the show owner over email or your preferred messaging app.
Your transfer key grants access
Only share it with people you trust. Anyone with your key can transfer a show into your organization.
Send a show
Once you have the receiving organization's transfer key, you can initiate the transfer.
- Navigate to the Shows tab of your account settings.
- Select the
Ellipsis button to the right of the show you want to transfer.
- Select Transfer Show.
- Paste the transfer key into the field.
- Select Confirm to initiate the transfer.
The show will be labeled Pending Transfer until the receiving organization approves.
Approve or decline an incoming transfer
When someone transfers a show to your organization, it appears on the Shows tab of your account settings with a Pending Transfer label.
- Select Approve to accept the transfer. The show and its show manager will be added to your organization.
- Select Decline to reject the transfer.
Cancel a pending transfer
If you initiated a transfer and want to cancel it before the receiving organization responds:
- Navigate to the Shows tab of your account settings.
- Select the

The transfer will be canceled and the Pending Transfer label will be removed from the show.
