How to use the Pilot Program

The Pilot Program is a unique feature in SquadCast that allows you to test new and upcoming features before they're available to everyone. This is a free to opt-in feature which you can turn on and off at anytime.

Pilot Program limited availability

The Pilot Program is only available for some periods of time. Sometimes we may need to disable the Pilot Program across the whole platform, which will automatically opt you out if you were opted in. You can see if the Pilot Program is available by going to the About tab of your account settings.

How to enable the Pilot Program

  1. Click your profile picture in the top right corner of the Dashboard.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select the About tab on the left side of the settings menu.
  4. If available you will see a Join the SquadCast Pilot Program section at the bottom. You can toggle on Pilot Program to enable Pilot Program Features for your organization.
  5. You can toggle this option off at any time to disable Pilot Program features for your organization.


How to submit feedback and report issues

Since the Pilot Program is an opt-in beta for new features, you may run into intermittent issues. If you would like to report these issues, you can select the Pilot Beta button at the top of the Dashboard or Studio to bring up a modal to write in with your report. You can include screenshots of the issues you encounter as well, which can be extremely helpful to us.

  1. Select the Pilot Beta button at the top of the Dashboard or Studio.  
  2. Fill out the fields in the modal with your findings and be as detailed as possible.
    • Please note, developers will read your messages as they come in. Remember to be kind and understand that there is a human on the other side of that feedback. Our goal is always to bring you the best of features and we understand any frustrations you may have with the platform. If any feature is causing you trouble please feel free to disable the Pilot Program and return to our stable public release.
  3. If you have a screenshot of the issue, upload a .jpg or .png file by selecting the Upload button.
  4. After you have completed filling out the form, you can submit it by selecting the Send Feedback button.
