Emoji characters may not render properly in your exported videos, instead presenting as a numbered code with a border:

It's important to note that no emojis are supported when exporting content to the Descript (web link) destination; emojis will only render correctly when exporting to the Local export destination. 

How to include emojis in exported videos

To work around this current limitation, we recommend using a .PNG image of the emoji and adding the PNG as an image layer in your project. The PNG image will render properly upon export.
