To quit the Quick recorder, you can close out the Descript app. However, if you have Run in background enabled in your Quick recorder settings, you must close the Quick recorder from the Quick recorder panel.
How to close the Quick recorder
- Open the Quick recorder.
- Click on
Settings in the top right of the Quick recorder panel.
- Select Quit. If you don't want the Quick recorder while the main Descript app is closed, make sure to disable Run in background.
