• Proximity to Microphone: Position yourself close to the microphone, typically within 6-10 inches, to ensure clear audio capture.

• Clear Speech: Articulate your words clearly. Automatic transcription accuracy may vary based on speech patterns and pronunciation, so ensuring distinct enunciation can help.

• Minimize Background Noise: Reduce ambient noise during recording to prevent interference with the transcription process.

The more these three things are true, the better your transcription will be.

Transcription does not support song lyrics and music

• Only speech audio will be returned with a transcription when you submit media files for automatic transcription.
• Any music contained in the file will not be transcribed as musical notation or sheet music.
