(Mac) or Ctrl + K
(Windows).
Use Search Actions to jump to a marker, remove filler words, export your project, or search for stock visuals β all without digging through menus.
What can you do with Search Actions?
Search Actions lets you find and launch tools quickly β without digging through menus or remembering where everything lives. Think of it as your universal command bar inside Descript.
You can use it to:
- Apply edits or effects to your script or media
- Insert visuals, comments, or other elements
- Navigate your project more efficiently
- Access project settings and share options
- Search for stock media or support resources
This isnβt the only place you can run these actions β many tools are also available through the editor UI or timeline. But Search Actions is one of the fastest ways to explore whatβs available and get things done.
