# Export to Google Drive

> Send a Descript composition directly to your Google Drive.

Send a finished composition straight to Google Drive from Descript's export menu, without downloading it first.

Once you're ready to export your project:

1. Open your project and select **Export.**
2. Then select **Google Drive** from the **Destination** dropdown menu.
3. Select your desired video resolution.
4. You may need to sign into your Google account:
   * Select **Sign in to Google**, and a webpage will open in your browser.
   * Choose what Google account you want to sign into and allow Descript access to your Google Drive.
5. Back in the export menu in Descript, choose where you want to upload your video and select **Export**.

  **Exported File Location**

  At this time, files exported to Google Drive will, by default, be saved to the root directory of your Google Drive. We hope to add more functionality to this soon.
