# Selection Toolbar

> Use the selection toolbar to action specific parts of your content directly from your script.

Highlight any part of your script and the selection toolbar appears, putting quick edits and actions for that selection one click away:

* **Ask Underlord —** start a conversation with [Underlord, Descript's AI co-editor](/getting-started/underlord-beta-your-ai-co-editor-in-descript).
* **Change** [**layout**](/templates-and-presets/overview) **—** opens the layout picker. If a layout is selected, applies the layout to the selection and creates a new scene
* [**Add layer**](/visuals/working-with-layers-and-clips-overview) — Add new layers right in the Script Editor—like imported files, stock media, text, captions, shapes, or recordings.
* [**Add scene**](/getting-started/scenes) — Opens the layout picker so you can quickly apply a layout to a scene.
* [**Correct**](/script-editing/correct-your-transcript)— This will allow you to correct the text of your script without affecting the audio.
* **Regenerate** — Make a correction or smooth out an edit with [Regenerate](/script-editing/regenerate-overview).
* **Edit your script —** choose to [ignore your selection](/script-editing/delete-vs-ignore) (disabled for AI speech),delete it,[replace with a gap clip](/timeline/using-gap-clips), or just [correct the transcript](/script-editing/correct-your-transcript) without editing the underlying script audio or video..
* Make your text selection **bold** or *italic*.
* [**Highlight**](/script-editing/highlights)— Highlight sections in your script in different colors. You can then use [Copy highlights](/script-editing/highlights) to aggregate your highlighted sections in a new composition.
* [**Duplicate to...**](https://help.descript.com/hc/en-us/articles/10249089844749-Duplicate-selection) — Quickly copy selections to a new or other compositions in your project.
* [**Add comments**](/collaboration/project-comments) — Communicate and collaborate with your teammates by leaving comments and reminders in your script.
* **Ellipsis** — Display the right-click menu for your selection.
