# Get Help / Contact Descript

## Use the in-app Help menu

Click the **Help Center (?)** icon in the top-right corner of Descript to quickly access support resources.

## Contact the Descript support team

Our team can be reached via live chat and email. We respond as quickly as we can—usually within one business day.

### Live chat (paid plans only)

Live chat is available Monday–Friday, 5:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. PT.

To access chat, **click the Help (?) icon** in the top-right corner of Descript and select [**Contact** support](https://web.descript.com/chat). Our bot will try to help first—if it can’t, you’ll be connected with our support team.

* If an agent is available, you’ll be connected for live chat.
* If chat isn’t available, leave a message—we’ll respond by email as soon as possible.

### Email

### What to include when contacting support

To help us troubleshoot quickly, please include:

* A short screen recording showing the issue.
