# Troubleshooting GPU (Graphics Card) Related Issues

> Update your graphics card drivers to fix GPU issues in Descript.

Out-of-date graphics drivers can cause GPU-related crashes, glitchy playback, and other issues in Descript. Updating them is usually the fix.

    If you’re on a Windows device, you can verify that your drivers are automatically up to date in a few different ways:

      * Graphics cards will be listed under the Display adapters heading in the Device Manager.
    * Visit the GPU manufacturer's website, for example, Nvidia or AMD, to download and install updated drivers.
