# Claude Motion

> Send a Claude Motion artifact to Descript, then add a voiceover, captions, and screen recordings to finish the video.

## Send a Claude Motion video to Descript

1. In Claude, open your Claude Motion animation.
2. Click **Share.**
3. Select the Export tab, then choose **Descript** from the **Send to** menu.
4. Claude will provide a link once the Motion artifact has been exported to a new Descript project.

## Edit your animation in Descript

Your animation arrives as a video clip, so edit it the way you'd edit any video in a [composition](/working-in-projects/overview):

* Record a voiceover or a [screen recording](/record/screen-recorder) to play alongside it.
* Add [captions](/visuals/captions).
* Trim it, or place it after your intro.
* Ask [Underlord](/getting-started/underlord-beta-your-ai-co-editor-in-descript) to help with the rest of the edit.

## Troubleshooting

* **Text and design inside the animation aren't editable in Descript.** The animation arrives as a flat video, so you can't change its headline, colors, or timing in Descript. Make those changes in Claude, then send it again.
* **Re-sends sometimes create a new project.** If you deleted the earlier project, moved to a different Drive, or no longer have edit access to it, Descript creates a new project instead. This also happens if your last send was more than about six months ago.
* **Failed sends.** If a send fails, send it again from Claude. The download link Claude passes to Descript expires after a few minutes. If you're out of media minutes, Descript asks you to upgrade before importing.
