# Import Files Using Edit in Descript (Beta)

> Send recordings straight from other recording platforms into Descript.

Descript eliminates the tedious and error-prone process of downloading files to your computer and re-uploading them into Descript — and streamlines your workflow — with Edit in Descript. This integration lets you import import files from one of our partners directly into the app:
